Hanwha Life Esports meet Top Esports in a Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage best of 1 on Friday, October 23, at 18:00 UTC. This is the LCK against the LPL with a single game deciding it, so draft prep and the first 15 minutes carry more weight than in any series. Hanwha Life Esports
Pros: HLE usually does well in disciplined macro play, and it has recent international hardware from First Stand 2025.
Cons: In a single game, a slow, scaling plan gives the opponent more room to snowball.
Top Esports
Pros: LPL teams tend to force fights early. In a best of 1, one strong early game can decide the result.
Cons: If the early pressure doesn’t pay off, aggressive teams have fewer ways to reset the game.
Which side holds the edge?
We won’t call a winner, and we don’t cover odds. We think three things decide this one: draft side selection, who controls early jungle tempo, and whether the opening dragon fights go to the more prepared team. Our guide to the best junglers in League right now covers the champions most likely to show up in this kind of draft.
Shotcaller's note
In a best of 1 there is no game two to adjust in. Watch the first three picks. They usually show which team built its plan around the early game.
