Result: BLG 1-0 KC
Bilibili Gaming won the game in about 36 minutes. One match tracker logged it as Partie 1 36:20 Bilibili Gaming BLG, and the final kill score was 11–14 kills BLG won.
The drafts:
- Bilibili Gaming: Ambessa, Jarvan IV, Orianna, Kai’Sa, Nautilus
- Karmine Corp: Rumble, Lee Sin, Viktor, Jhin, Alistar
I’d call this a slow game that one fight decided. By the 20-minute mark, the scoreboard sat level at 3-3, with Bilibili Gaming holding only a marginal gold advantage. Then KC went for the soul. At the 28-minute mark, Karmine Corp attempted to secure Dragon Soul, but Bilibili Gaming shut the play down. BLG capitalized on a slight positional error from KC, decisively winning the teamfight to claim both the Dragon and Baron, blowing the gold lead open to 4,000. The game ended at Baron, where Viper tore through Karmine Corp on Kai’Sa. BLG scored an ACE off the play and pushed straight into the base to seal the win.

Karmine Corp: pros and cons
Pros
– They came through the Play-In in good form. The rematch ended with the same scoreline, giving Karmine Corp a 9-2 game record across the Play-In Stage.
– They beat a first seed. In Round 1, Karmine Corp beat Anyone’s Legend with the jungle and support pairing doing much of the damage.
Cons
– They let leads slip. Against LYON, KC took the lead in the early game of this match. However, LYON proved to be resilient and patiently tried to buy time for their Yunara pick to scale up.
– Their late-game setups around objectives broke down twice in a row: first the LYON comeback, then the soul fight against BLG.
Bilibili Gaming: pros and cons
Pros
– Strong macro once they get ahead. Against Team Liquid, by minute 20, Bilibili Gaming broke through to establish a 3-0 kill lead alongside nearly 4,000 bonus gold and two secured Dragons.
– Viper can carry teamfights, as the Kai’Sa ace showed.
Cons
– They started badly. Movistar KOI beat Bilibili Gaming, China’s second seed on Day 1, during a round where all four LPL teams lost.
Verdict: who had the edge
BLG did, and I think the result was fair. I don’t put it down to early-game gaps. BLG were simply more patient in a level game and punished KC’s one bad setup at 28 minutes. KC’s two losses look alike: both went past 35 minutes and turned on a single objective fight. LYON closed out the map with 15 kills and 8 towers to secure the 37-minute win.
Shotcaller's note
Both of KC’s Swiss losses went 36 minutes or longer. In a Bo3 with Fearless Draft, the side that is cleaner at Baron and soul has the edge.
What’s next
Round 4 is all best-of-three. Liquipedia says elimination and advancement matches are Bo3 using Fearless Draft.
